Java Moss (Taxiphyllum Barbieri) 20g Portion
£3.95
A popular and easy to care for aquatic moss. Java moss tolerates a wide range of temperatures (15 - 30°C) and thrives between 20 - 24°C.
As far as mosses go, java moss is fast growing. It doesn't require a high tech setup with CO₂ but the addition of CO₂ will enable it to grow faster.
It prefers moderate lighting but will tolerate a wide range. We recommend keeping it trimmed to promote new growth.
Attach to rocks, driftwood or other solid surfaces with aquatic glue (the cyanoacrylate type), organic cotton (which will dissolve after a couple of weeks) or if emersed in a terrarium just place it where you want it and it'll soon latch on to the substrate or surface.
