Crystalwort, Riccia Fluitans (10g portion)

This unusual floating plant spreads by progressive forking and produces a dense clump of separate plants that float on the aquarium surface.

It is hardy and adaptable and can be kept in most aquarium conditions, including both unheated and warmer tropical aquariums (suggested range 15 - 30°C).

Once established and with bright light it can spread rapidly and may need occasional thinning.

The plants are grown by us in our specialist aquaria, using our own sustainable methods. We don't use chemicals or chemical fertilisers on these plants so they are snail and shrimp safe too.

All of our plants are grown in real world conditions, not in stale agar in a laboratory, so they will adapt really quickly to their new home and there should be no danger of melting which happens with plants from grow cups.
