Anubias giant stardust (Anubias barteri var. nana 'Stardust')

Very attractive and rare variegated dwarf anubias, with white veins and specks on the dark green leaves. The variegation develops further over time with optimum lighting and nutrients - it also likes to just be left alone with really stable conditions.

Anubias grow from a central rhizome which should be attached to rocks, drift or bog wood but which must never be buried in substrate, or the plant will rot.

This rare epiphyte grows well in a range of temperatures from 22 - 28°C and will also grow very happily emersed or in a terrarium setting provided the humidity is high.
