A beautiful plant with white to light green leaves depending on the light level and nutrients (high light promotes more variegation). We've grown these plants ourselves (not in-vitro).

Anubias grow from a central rhizome which should be attached to rocks, drift or bog wood but which must never be buried in substrate, or the plant will rot.

This rare epiphyte grows well in a range of temperatures from 22 - 28°C and will also grow very happily emersed or in a terrarium setting provided the humidity is high.

[Note: listing is for 1 emersed stable rooted rhizome cutting with a decent amount of leaves as per the photos - what you see is what you get. We don't grow in-vitro in agar so our plants should adapt quickly. We ship without pots or substrate for safe transportation. Grown with ❤️ by us in our eco-friendly aquaria, the plant is chemical and pest free, and therefore snail and shrimp safe]

Recommended growing conditions and additional plant information:

Temperature: 22 - 28 °C (we're growing at 22-23 °C)

Lighting: Low to medium (we're growing them at 834 LUX/73 FC/Ee 0.5 W/m²/Blue scale 11.75%/CCT 3983k)

pH: 5.5 - 8

Growth rate: Slow growing

CO₂: Not required

Typical habitat: Emergent/Emersed (roots in water, leaves above) and Submerged/Submersed

Propagation habitat: Emersed in a humidity chamber at 99% humidity, sat on inert substrate (95% inert, 5% organics)

This means the habitat that we've grown the plant(s) in, sometimes plants are grown in different habitats when propagating.

Water type: Freshwater

Propagation method: Rhizome cuttings

Have chemicals or chemical fertilisers been used in propagation: No - snail and shrimp safe

Origin: Africa (this variation has been made through tissue culture originally, it would not exist like this in the wild)

This means where you might find the plant in the wild, or for very rare species, where the original samples were discovered. We propagate all plants ourselves.

Additional notes: Please be aware that these are quite difficult plants to grow submersed due to their slow growth and lack of chlorophyll

[We'll also include care information in the package for your convenience]
