They are fantastic at helping to control algae.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThey like a bit of warmth so are great in tropical aquaria or heated cold water aquaria, they're also fine in a UK pond during the summer, but they'll be too cold in an outdoor pond during the winter. We recommend a minimum of 18°C and they thrive between 20°C to 24°C.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThey provide perfect hiding places for smaller fish and fry.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThey don't like fast moving water or the tops of their leaves to be wet. If you've got a lid on your tank it's best to leave an air gap so they don't get damp with condensation.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe plants are grown by us in our specialist aquaria, using our own sustainable methods.
