They grow quite fast and are excellent at taking up nutrients to help keep your water clean and healthy. They are fantastic at helping to control algae.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThey like a bit of warmth so are great in tropical aquaria or heated cold water aquaria, but they'll be too cold in an outdoor pond. We recommend a minimum of 18°C and they thrive above 22°C.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTheir fine roots provide perfect hiding places for smaller fish and fry.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAs with most floating plants they don't like a lot of current or the tops of their leaves to be wet. If you've got a lid on your tank it's best to leave an air gap so they don't get damp with condensation.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe plants are grown by us in our specialist aquaria, using our own sustainable methods.
